Home Bible Study

"Yes, I am coming quickly." Amen.
Revelation 22:20

This is a Home Bible study. It exists to promote the Word of God as it's written, which means nothing added or taken away, and minus opinions.

The Bible is the only source of Divine Truth in the world today. Although it is both helpful and informative in many ways, the Bible often doesn't tell us everything we want to know but the Bible does tell us everything we need to know.

My role is to guide you through the Scriptures; to explain what this book says and in some cases what it does not say because this is just as important.

Ultimately, you have a decision to make concerning your salvation - no one can make it for you. The Lord Jesus Christ, the Creator God, has given everyone the ability to make choices - this is is called "Free Will." I pray you consider your choice wisely.

II Timothy 2:15

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.

"Come out of her My People." - Part IV

Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth
(II Timothy 2:15)

Revelation 18: 1-18

“Come out of Her My people…”

Part IV

I ended the last lesson with this comment.

I said, “I didn’t think it would be an error to include “Gentiles” in the phrase,
Come out of Her My people.

Since the book of Revelation is concerned with end time events, God issues this warning to all peoples who have expressed faith in the gospel for their salvation and this would include Gentiles; so this is not a mistake.

*****

Since the Creator God called out Abram from among all the people on the planet, until the stoning of Stephen in Acts chapter 7, the LORD God had been dealing exclusively with the nation of Israel with a few exceptions.

The people of Nineveh were one such exception.  You may want to read the story of Jonah and the big fish.  (By the way it was NOT a whale.)

After Stephen’s martyrdom by the Jewish religious leaders, God turned His attention to the non-Jews (Gentiles) and the book of ACTS from chapter 8 onward marks this dispensational shift quite clearly.

But God has NOT abandoned His chosen people the Jews.
What does this book say?

Israel Is Not Cast Away
Romans 11

1: I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He?  May it never be!  For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

2: God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew…

God’s Word doesn’t get much clearer than that people.  No mystery there.
Skip down to verse 11 and please read slowly.

Romans 11

11: I say then, (this is still the Apostle Paul writing to Believers in Rome) they did not stumble so as to fall, did they?  (Paul is referring to the Jews who “stumbled” over the “corner stone” who was their Savior/Messiah in unbelief)  May it never be!  But by their transgression (sin) salvation has come to (who) the Gentiles, to make them (these Jews – God’s people) jealous.

Let’s review one more verse.  Please drop down to verse 25.
Romans 11

25: For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery – (Only the Apostle Paul uses this word “mystery” in Scripture.  Check it out.  You see these “mysteries” found in his writings were kept secret in the mind of God until He chose to reveal them.  And they were revealed ONLY to the Apostle Paul, who in turn has made  them to known to us Believers.  See Deuteronomy 29:29) so that you will not be wise in your own estimation – that a partial hardening has happened to (the nation of) Israel until (you ought to know by now that certain words in Scripture are TIME related words.  UNTIL is one of these.  Until means some time in the future) the (what) fullness of the (who) Gentiles has come in;

…Until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.  This is important.

A coffee cup can only contain so much liquid for example and then it’s full.
I think God is telling us the Church-Age Saints or the Body of Christ has a specific number.  I believe God knows the name of the last person who will be saved in this age whether that is a man, woman, or child.  This is the “fullness of the Gentiles” Paul has written about.

In addition, this “fullness of the Gentiles” Paul writes about, in my opinion, will trigger another significant Church-Age event and this is the rapture of the Church.

The Church-Age Saints will NOT go into the tribulation period.
The Body of Christ will NOT suffer the wrath of God!

I Thessalonians 5

9: For God has (what’s the next word) not destined us (Believers in the gospel – see
I Corinthians 15:1-4) for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
10: who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him.

The rapture of the Church-Age Saints is a pre-tribulation event.
Therefore, the only people left on earth afterwards will be who?  Think…

Did you say unbelievers?  You’d be correct.

There will be thousands of people sitting in a church around this planet wondering why their loved ones are missing but they are still here.

Emotions will be running high.  Confusion and chaos will reign.
It’s an ideal setting for the man of sin.  He’s coming.
And people of this world will welcome him with open arms.

Here the good news.
Millions will come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior during the tribulation.  Both Jew and Gentile will be saved.
But these brave souls will be martyred for their faith almost right away.

Revelation 6
The Fifth Seal – Martyrs

9: When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony which they had maintained;

10: and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who dwell on the earth.”

11: And there was given to each of them a white robe; and they were told that they should rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who were to be killed even as they had been, would be completed also.
