Home Bible Study

"Yes, I am coming quickly." Amen.
Revelation 22:20

This is a Home Bible study. It exists to promote the Word of God as it's written, which means nothing added or taken away, and minus opinions.

The Bible is the only source of Divine Truth in the world today. Although it is helpful and informative in many ways, the Bible might not tell us everything we want to know but the Bible does tell us everything we need to know.

My role is to guide you through the Scriptures; to explain what this book says and in some cases what it does not say because this is just as important.

Ultimately, you have a decision to make concerning your salvation - no one can make it for you. The Lord Jesus Christ, the Creator God, has given everyone the ability to make choices - this is is called "Free Will." I pray you consider your choice wisely.

II Timothy 2:15

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.

Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth
(II Timothy 2:15)

The previous Bible lesson, sent by me, was intended to be a short review of LF’s Bible lesson covering the opening remarks of Revelation chapter six.  Here we find the introduction of the first of four horsemen of the apocalypse.

Well that didn’t’ happen; so we are going to now call my last Bible lesson a short “preview” of LF’s lesson instead.   That works.

Les Feldick presented to us “his” opinion on who the rider of this white horse is.
He said, in his opinion, the rider of the white horse is the counterfeit Christ and not the Lord Jesus Christ as some teach.

I am certain; Les’s view is based upon his knowledge of Scripture.
But, he says, it is his opinion – not fact.

I need to point this out because there are “those” who go out of their way to speak out against Mr. Feldick trying to label him a false teacher.

I have been following Mr. Feldick for about nine years.
Although we disagree on some things, the one thing I do not agree with is labeling him a false teacher.  Mr. Feldick repeats over and over again that he does not wish to mislead anyone.  If a specific verse or point in Scripture is not clearly revealed, says Les, then we should just leave it where we found it and move on.  Not only do I agree with this; this is precisely what I teach.

I took the time to take you thru Scripture to show you why I think the rider of this white horse is the Anti-Christ also.  I’d like to add that we who think this are in good company.
Many Bible scholars and theologians teach on this point.

Two reasons for this being my opinion were left out of the previous lesson.
I’ll take the time to present these now.

First; I could borrow the phrase “guilt” by association.
This first rider will be followed by three more riders on different color horses; which are foreshadows of death, destruction, doom, and despair.

And this brings me to point number two.
Who ushers in this era that is called the Tribulation?

Don’t lose me here.
This Tribulation period is prophecy being fulfilled; therefore, it is God’s will.

But according to Scripture, the Tribulation years begin with the signing of a peace agreement between Israel and who?  That would be the Anti-Christ; or the counterfeit.

The inking of this false security agreement between these two parties ignites this age.
And IN MY OPINION, this is the rider of the white horse.

According to Scripture, the Anti-Christ will not make himself known until the mid-point (3 ½ years) into the Tribulation.
