Dividing the Word of Truth
(II
Timothy 2:15)
Revelation
18: 1-8
Part
III
Follow
up to: “Come out of Her My people…”
In the previous lessons, I mentioned that it was my opinion
when the angel announced, “Come out of Her my people,” (this One World system
of finance, government, and religion) which is a quote from Revelation 18, this
heavenly being was speaking primarily to the nation of Israel.
Now I intend as is my custom to take you to a few places in this
book to show you where the Lord God refers to the Jews as “His people.”
You can do this yourself. All you need is a good concordance.
Please open your Bible at Exodus chapter 3.
Exodus
3
7: The
LORD said, “I have surely seen the affliction of (who) My people who are in Egypt, and have
given heed to their cry because of their taskmasters, for I am aware of their
sufferings…”
Skip down to verse 10.
10: “…Therefore, come now, and I will send you (Moses)
to Pharaoh, so that you may bring (whose
people) My people, (and here
we have further clarification) the sons
of Israel, out of Egypt.”
We have time for a couple more.
Please turn to the book of I Kings chapter 6.
This will take us to a time in Israel’s history after their
nationality was established.
I Kings
6
13: (Once
again this is the Creator God speaking) “I
will dwell among the sons of Israel, and will not forsake My people
Israel.”
There can be no mistaking the meaning of these verses. God’s meaning in these verses is crystal
clear, and God always says what He mean and means what He says.
One more and then we move on.
Turn to the book of Ezekiel chapter 14.
This of course is a book of prophecy concerning the nation of
Israel.
Ezekiel
14
11: …in
order that the house of Israel may no longer stray from Me and no longer defile
themselves with all their transgression.
Thus they (what’s the next word) will
be My people, and I shall be their God,” ‘declares the Lord GOD.”
The nation of Israel, are God’s chosen people. You’ll find this common thread runs
throughout Scripture and begins with a man named Abram. (See Genesis 12)
This event occurs approximately 400 years after Noah’s flood.
In this unilateral covenant between the LORD God and Abram, known
as the Abrahamic Covenant (which is still in effect today), Abram is promised
these things:
Starting with him, God would bring forth a great nation.
They would occupy their own land.
God would send them a King to govern them.
Because the book of Revelation is Jewish prophecy being fulfilled
I have no problem in believing that God is once again dealing primarily with
“His people” (the Israelites) who will be operating under the Law and all that
applies.
However, since the entire planet is going to come under God’s wrath,
I do not believe it is wrong to include Gentiles in the angle’s command, “Come out of Her My people.”
Now I can picture some of you scratching your heads and saying,
but you said…
I’ll explain in the next lesson.
