Home Bible Study

"Yes, I am coming quickly." Amen.
Revelation 22:20

This is a Home Bible study. It exists to promote the Word of God as it's written, which means nothing added or taken away, and minus opinions.

The Bible is the only source of Divine Truth in the world today. Although it is helpful and informative in many ways, the Bible might not tell us everything we want to know but the Bible does tell us everything we need to know.

My role is to guide you through the Scriptures; to explain what this book says and in some cases what it does not say because this is just as important.

Ultimately, you have a decision to make concerning your salvation - no one can make it for you. The Lord Jesus Christ, the Creator God, has given everyone the ability to make choices - this is is called "Free Will." I pray you consider your choice wisely.

II Timothy 2:15

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.

Hurricane Irma Update 2017

Hurricane Irma Update 2017

Hurricane Irma has already made landfall in Florida and by  2000 hours will pummel the Tampa Bay area with sustained hurricane force winds, torrential rain, tornadoes (here and there), wide-spread flooding, and wide-spread power outages.  The eye-wall itself will pass by not too far from our home.   I expect HBS will be “out-of-service” for some time because of this tropical event.  It could be days, weeks, or months before power is restored to all the affected areas.  While HBS is down, unable to communicate, please take advantage of the many Bible lessons in the archives, just waiting to be explored by y’all.

Please pray for all those who have lost loved ones in the path of Irma and those who have lost their homes, their businesses, or their way of life.  Please pray for those who are in the path of hurricane Irma and will be feeling the effects shortly.  Pray they do not give in to fear but instead know:  He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1a).

Some naysayers have recently appeared on the scene with comment such as, “Where is God?  Why would God permit weather events like Harvey and Irma?  Please know life’s ups and downs, i.e. weather events, do not nullify the promises of God Romans (8:37-39; 2 Corinthians 1:20; Philippians 4:19).  Learn to recognize these individuals for who they truly are (false teachers) and be true to God and His Word always.
